SORA100 - New Jersey's Security Officer (SORA) Training Experts

Currently offering virtual SORA training to new SORA license applicants, officers seeking SORA license recertification in NJ, and officers seeking first time or renewal armed upgrades. SORA100 provides training courses for security officer certification, as outlined by Security Officer Registration Act (SORA). Training for certification is available to new applicants and officers seeking recertification in New Jersey.

Required Steps to obtaining your SORA license:

Visit the New Jersey State Police website to register for a regular or armed license, which cost $75. https://eapps.njsp.org/applicant/logon.do
Visit sora100.com/classes to view upcoming classes, then pay the $125 registration fee to attend a class. You will receive a registration number from the state police once your application is processed; please remember to text your ID number to the SORA100 instructor at 732-207-2357 before your scheduled class.
From the same NJSP SORA website, please make an appointment for fingerprints. The fingerprinting location will ask you to pay $68 on the day of your appointment.

Active Law Enforcement Special:

Special SORA Registration is available to members of Law Enforcement. Please note that this payment option in the registration portal should only be selected by active members of Law Enforcement. Verification of status will be required.
